Critically-acclaimed A-list photographer (and one of my favorites I must admit), Annie Leibovitz, has recently released the latest installment of her Disney Dream Portrait series. Featuring the lovely Jessica Chastain portraying Brave’s Merida, the wonderfully cast actress sits atop a wild black stallion, bow and arrow in tow.

Debuting the series in 2007, this is just one of many from Leibovitz’s Disney Dream series; other portraits include Jennifer Hudson as The Princess and the Frog’s Tiana, Taylor Swift as Tangled’s Rapunzel, and who could forget Will Ferrell, Jack Black and Jason Segel’s portrayal of the hitchhiking ghosts from The Haunted Mansion.

As not only a major Disney fan, but a huge Annie Leibovitz admirer as well, I couldn’t ask for a better collaboration, and commend the photographer for her accurate depictions of the many princes, princesses and various fairytale personalities that have lit up our childhoods.
